a breather

it's been a while. i havent even sat down at a computer in several weeks let alone, had enough free time to ruminate on a blog.
christmas has come and gone, and i missed it. monday was not a special day, just a day off, which in and of itself was good, but i dont know whether it's good or bad to have so little interest with the holiday this year. i dont think that commercial christmas is worth buying into at all, so on that level, i have no remorse, but .... i dont know. im past the point of caring that i get stuff, although i do enjoying giving, but i think even that starts to get into the aspects of the holiday i dont like.
maybe it has just been my overexposure at the mall...
anyways, with all the gifts i have been given, i am very thankful this year - especially for those of you that i know read this. or at least used to. im looking forward to more free time coming up here soon to hang out.
peace in your hood and mercy mild

'the barry'

i went to home run pizza with john yesterday and we split the barry. the barry is a calzone, of amazing taste quality and proportions. it was delicious, and i don't whether it seemed bigger than before because i was so hungry, or whether it actually is bigger than before. anyways, it was beautiful.
we were then kicking it at johns house, playing some music, and started an acoustic/electric killer side project. more details forthcoming.
work beckons. i should probably listen.
more later.

pursue holiness

today's message was simple. convicting, encourging, simple. "pursue holiness"

my basketball team won our first game today. it was fun - it's funny how you can emphasize something over and over again, and they just wont do it. 'put your hands up on defense' - nothing. something to work on, i suppose.

good times, good times.

had a good chat with my district manager this past week. excited about the possibilities with work over the next few months.

rock on.
