RIP The Hawk

I was in Backdoor Disc and Tape on Thursday with John and Jimmy looking for their CD, which was supposedly on the local band rack. While we were in there, a middle aged guy came up to me and asked me a question about where something was - assumming that I worked there. Now, as this has never really happened before, I quickly made the connection that I was being judged due to the mohawk. I knew that it wasnt the most professional hairstyle I've ever had, but I didn't think other people noticed so much. So to make a short story even shorter, I am now rocking a buzz cut.
So then John and Jimmy and I went golfing. Very enjoyable, I'd love to do it again. For not golfing John's pretty darn good. We played in Oakmont which I thought was hilarious - there were sand traps like half way down on a 150 yard par 3. I totally didnt get it, until I realized that this course caters to the eldest generation - for them it's actually in play. Regardless it was cheap and a pretty nice course.
Got one week left in Cloverdale.
Excited to record soon, if that happens.

Without much to say

I just wrote an entire post, re-read it and decided it had no value so I deleted it. I feel void of things to say. I've been trying to find time to read "Don't waste your life" by John Piper, but have only gotten several pages in. The preface is heavy. "It is better to lose your life than to waste it. Some of you will lose your life in the service of Christ. That will not be a tragedy. Treasuring life above Christ is a tragedy." ....etc. I have some time before work today, hopefully I will choose to read some more. Sometimes I treasure baseball over other things.
