less than 2 weeks
...til basketball season starts. At this point, the Warriors are 3-0 in preseason, averaging 121 points per game without their leading scorer. Some may argue that the preseason doesn't mean anything, but it's better than being 0-3. It's going to be sick.
I'm struggling with the sovereignty of God. How can I have full responsibility and not be in control? I feel free and guilty at the same time, which apparently is how I'm supposed to feel, but I don't feel like anything has been 'settled'.
I'm looking forward to playing some shows here before too long. It's been a while. I'm looking forward to people hearing our new CD. I'm looking forward to hearing our new CD. Needless to say, that process is taking a while.

My question is related to the sovereignty struggle. What is it that you feel like needs to be settled? The question of how you can not be in control and still be held accountable?
What if we took a different approach then the one you're taking. In America we tend to think of ourselve completely isolated from everyone else. The Bible, however, does not. You did not choose your parents and yet, they are your parents. You inherit from them all sorts of blessings and problems. Is that unfair? When Adam sinned in the garden it disrupted the very identity of humanity. Now humanity is fallen. Is it unfair that we are born into a fallen race? We could just look at it as the nature of the world, cats give birth to cats, fallen humanity gives birth to fallen humanity.
Oh and one last thing, if we shouldn't be held accountable through the sin of the one man Adam, then we shouldn't be able to be saved through the one man Christ.
